The tournament starts well, various battles taking place according to the plan. You take her back to the hotel, and the next day starts after sleeping. It doesn't take long for her to snap out of it, but she is entirely confused as to how she got out there on her own. The night before the tournament, however, Liv exhibits strange behavior, seen walking to the nearby laboratory by herself. Soon, you find yourself at Encephalon Isle, where the Robo Cup takes place. This raises questions to various contestants about what happens to the losers. The President of NeoBrain makes a statement, that the preliminaries will take place on the way. Your team boards a ship, headed for Encephalon Isle, where the Robo Cup is to take place. Later, a tournament at the robocenter will allow you to compete in a tournament (the Robo Cup) shortly after. Kris will also give you a special license. Because of this, Stark will teach you the Soulboost. Zephyr, having been given a note from Kris. After an ambush with a rogue commander and a criminal, the latter of which you will illegally fight outside of a holosseum (Arena), Dennis and Duncan become too weak to fight, and you are their last hope. Then, you go on police duty with seemingly bumbling police cadet Duncan. Zephyr, where Stark will turn you away at the top. Liv's interest in the soulboost will take your team to Mt. The game starts with a player-named male character whose father has just moved into the town of Midheart to work at NeoBrain, a robo research company. There are tools on that could be used to work on the project again, but the project is super dead as of right now.Gameplay Main article: Custom Robo Gameplay Plot As such, it's basically back to square one for this patch. The team canned the project and destroyed their assets. I'll check up on them again (probably closer to Winter time as I wrote them an e-mail about a month ago).Įdit: New update as of today. Source: I send and receive e-mails with the team's programmer every once in a while. They'll get around to finishing it before the end of time (they said that they would release it when it's done and that they're still working on it, but they didn't give a deadline). All the team needs to do is to test it out to iron out the kinks before a v1.0 can be released. The good news is that the script is done. The head programmer is the only person on the planet that I know of who knows how to compile all of the source files together as there's a specific way that CR1 and V2 compile their files when compared to other N64 games (I'm not going to pretend that I know how it works as I don't know how it works for those games). So, real world commitments are keeping them from the project. In addition, the team just graduated from college this past Spring, so they are still transitioning to their next stage of life. The team (it's a 3 person team IIRC where one's a programmer, one's a legal expert to get Nintendo off their backs, and one's a translator) is still working on the project, but the main programmer of the team is in the middle of preparing for his US Citizenship Test. I do need to record more of it, but I've been too busy with work and real life commitments. The ROM has a bunch of typos and glitches at the moment anyways and only covers the main campaign and a bit of the post-game, so it's not close to done. I have it, but I cannot share it without getting in trouble with the legal team of the translation team (Star Trinket Translations' head project lead has a family of lawyers that would sue me if I broke my agreement of keeping the ROM off the web and they would know that the ROM came from me as there is a specific checksum that the file has that would identify the leaker as myself). There exists an Alpha ROM for Custom Robo V2. ![]()
